What does everyone else think of this 1990's remake? It's the only version I've personally seen myself and kind of liked it.

Not bad, but nowhere near as spooky as the original. Of course, England in B&W is always spooky, even in a comedy.

Yeah, the original is terrific. The remake is okay, not an embarrassment. On its own, it's perfectly fine. Only in comparison does it really suffer.
